I’m baack! I have nothing to say about my absence except that I was having a splendid Christmas with the people I love:
and that I’ve felt an awful lot like this up until yesterday when school resumed:
In all honesty this picture is an accurate representation of my life over winter break (minus the afro and, you know, nudity).
Actually, I’ve been the opposite of nude, considering I refuse to take this off:
And I’ve been pretty much prancing around in my new coat pretending to be Sherlock… anyone watch the new season yet??
Totally normal, right?
But now that break is dead and done I’ve gotten my stuff organized for class, started prepping for job interviews, cleaned my apartment and started to be a full functioning adult again. Just in time for the party:

I don’t have a whole lot to share this week, because my food has been pretty boring lately, but here’s some highlights from over break.
Topped with more peanut butter and some sprinkles for good measure.

Amazing cannolis on Christmas (hey-we’re Italian, what did you expect?)
And lookie here, I even have a recipe for you like a good little blogger😉.
Ok, it’s totally a holiday drink recipe, but maybe you’ll crave it even though the holidays are over.
Salted Caramel Cocktail
-2 oz salted caramel vodka
(I used Pinnacle which I so graciously got from my boyfriend’s mom)
-1 oz Bailey’s
-Milk of choice (I used vanilla almond milk)
1) Line your glass with some frosting or water and coat it in brown sugar (optional, but so cute and tasty).
2) Put everything in a cocktail shaker (pour in the alcohol over the ice and fill the rest with milk)
2) Shake and pour. Done and done. Top with whipped cream if you’re feelin’ fancy.
