Thinking Out Loud: Easter Edition

Hello lovelies! I’ve got another round of Thinking Out Loud, hosted by Amanda.

Sorry it’s been a hot minute since I blogged last. I’ve had a lot on my plate (as we all do) lately! Between school (remind me why I saved my hard classes until the end??), searching for an apartment, packing because my lease ends super early, and job hunting, what little free time I have has been spent like this:

Instead of blogging. My robe blends in with my blanket…It’s a good look, no? I call this my snail outfit, because I curl the excess blanket on the couch next to me, because if it touches the ground that automatically means spiders will crawl in it… common knowledge, right?

Anyway, there’s also been a lack of posts this week because I went home last weekend and have been playing catch up ever since. Worth. It.

Not only is family time the best, but raiding their fridge is also up there on my list of “reasons I love home”. PS Laura will be proud of my Strange, but Good combo:

Annie’s bunny cookies plus WF Apricot Goat Cheese spread (A.K.A. FROSTING LABELED AS CHEESE). Heaven. Also, we could play another game of Where is Waldo Nike with this picture.

And of course, we went running so we could eat more cookies when I was home:

We got into plenty of shenanigans, including forcing my dad to pick us up a Redbox movie late at night, even though we promised we’d get out of car if he drove us there:

And getting ready for Easter brunch:

But we got rid of the mohawk when we actually left for brunch:

We can just pretend my sister kept her eyes open for the picture.

After brunch we parted ways and my parents, my siblings & I headed downtown to the planetarium. First I had to say bye to puppy though:

Speaking of that, we jokingly took my “senior pictures” making fun of my high school senior pictures.. oh how times have changed:

I’m sure my mom loved sitting in the back seat with me.

If you haven’t already noticed, we tried to ruin most of the pictures my mom look. Like when she told us to pose we would all face the wrong direction or make a weird face:

Mom eventually won though and got some “normal” pictures:

That’s all I have for you folks. Hopefully I’ll get around to posting some recipes later this week. Have a great Thursday everyone! Hope your week has been as good as mine!

  1. Haha oh your weekend looks awesome! It seems like you have a great relationship with your sibs, which is wonderful :) the pics made me laugh…i wish we still did that stuff haha

  2. Hahaha whenever I go home, I ALWAYS raid the fridge and pantry… and usually take a good amount of food back to school with me. I’m your typical college kid mooching off of my parents ;).

LOVE the poke balls. I went through a phase when I was younger where I was obsessed with pokemon. I had the whole collectors album of pokemon cards and ‘errything.

Glad you had such a wonderful time at home!
